TUTORIAL SYSTEM

The institution is having an active tutorial system for the students. One hour per week is assigned for tutorial for the students of each class. The tutorial system enables the teachers and the students to work and interact in close intimacy. The tutor monitors the academic performance of the students and she/he takes care of the academic, administrative, family, social and emotional problems of the wards assigned to her/him. The students are made aware of the support services available to them in the college campus, during the tutorial sessions.  The entire student community is divided into groups and each group is entrusted with a teacher who personally looks after the students of his/her group. Separate periods are set apart in the time table for tutorial work. 

Objectives

• To promote the interaction between teachers and students
• To monitor the academic and non academic performance of each students
• To understand the strength and weakness of each students.

Institute of Tribal Studies and Research, is promoting Physical Education and sports on par with regular academics. ITSR has well recognizedthe value of sports and physical activities as a means of developing personality promoting social harmony and discipline. ITSR provides ample opportunity to the students to utilize their leisure time with physical activities to reduce their stress and inculcate a lifetime physical activity behavior in their day-to-day education system. Physical fitness is not only the most important key to a healthy body but also the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual abilities. We encourage mass participation towards physical activities, which enhance the overall cognitive abilities of the students. Our institute desires to prepare all the Sports events to enable participation for University Zone and Inter Zone Competitions. ITSR also established a sports club which truly influence to conduct the various game competitions within the Campus.
